You're probably wondering "how do people get such high scores as a spy?". Well, I'm here to teach you.

Section 1: Loadout

The loadout you choose will be a critical factor.

Slot 1: Enforcer
The primary slot doesn't make too much of a difference. If you're looking to boost your damage a bit, go with the Enforcer. If you want to be able to build cloak faster, use L'etranger.

Slot 2: Knife
The knife you choose doesn't really matter, although if you're going for backstabs, go with the Big Earner. Backstabbing him will help build up cloak if it's not full yet.

Slot 3: Dead Ringer
This is the most critical. Use the dead ringer to fool hale and to make a quick escape. Using this in conjunction with L'etranger can be a very big help if you need to build up cloak again.

Section 2: Strategy
The spy is definitely one of the easiest to play in VSH. During the beginning of the round, disguise as a friendly. This will trick hale into thinking there are no spies on the team, thus lowering his guard. After he "kills" you, all you have to do is shoot at him from a distance with your revolver. Once he gets too close, pull out the dead ringer and run. Try to jump when he hits you, as it will launch you across the map for a good get away. The normal revolver does about 49-51 damage per shot, and 119 when crit boosted. Because of this, it's easy to rack up large amounts of damage if you keep your distance from hale and "snipe" him with your revolver. If you use L'etranger, your damage is nerfed a bit, so you'll be focusing more on hitting him multiple times in a row after you uncloak.

This is pretty much all there is to the spy.

Well, you get get your clock back really fast with a back stop of the Big Earner so the normal watch isn't totally out of the question. You can stab and cloak. If you do that fast enough then Hale might not see where you are and you can run away safely while others try to fuck with him.

And personally, I hate the Enforcer do to the slow cloak time. Those little moments can mean life or death to me.

Eh, if you're far away from hale, the +20% damage never hurts.
